Story
Twenty-five years after environmental collapse has rendered Earth uninhabitable, Mother, Father, and Son are trapped in their castle bunker, struggling to maintain hope and a sense of normalcy as they cling to the rituals of daily life until the arrival of a stranger, The Girl, disrupts their happy routine. The Son, a naive twenty-something who has never seen the outside world, becomes infatuated with the newcomer, and the delicate bonds of blind optimism that have held the wealthy clan together suddenly begin to fray. As tensions mount, their seemingly idyllic existence begins to unravel, and long-suppressed feelings of regret and resentment threaten to shatter the family’s fragile balance. But their reckoning with difficult truths also points to another path forward, one based on acceptance, love, and the ability to change.
