Story
Follow Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Badingham as their long-running rivalry comes to an end. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark.. I’m not surprised by the incredibly shallow “whining”. from some, “wah wah, Rupert Campbell-Black was blond and blue-eyed.” When I first saw Alex Hassell, I couldn’t believe those eyes and the way he just carried this undercurrent that buried. RCB. He is very well cast and as a fan of the Gilly books for 40 years I have no problem with Mr. Hassell. His eyes beat any idea of who could play Rupert. And it’s remarkable for someone to achieve when the idea of who RCB is, how he looks and behaves, was so ingrained. Well done…I bet Jilly is happy!
